Terms of Service
Effective January 14, 2026
By creating an account or using COHORTS you agree to these terms. They govern your use of the application and every related service.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the service you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.
2. Your account
- Eligibility: you must be at least 13 years old. Under 18, a parent or guardian must approve your account.
- Security: you are responsible for your credentials and for everything done under your account.
- Accuracy: you agree to give accurate information when you register and to keep your profile current.
3. Community conduct
COHORTS is a community for learning together. To keep it safe, you agree not to:
- Harass, bully or discriminate against other members.
- Post illegal, offensive or harmful content.
- Spam, solicit or advertise without permission.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property.
- Attempt to break into, reverse engineer or disrupt the service.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive members. Anyone can report a session, a message or a person from inside the app, and block a person so they can no longer reach them; a report is reviewed by a person within 24 hours, the content is removed when it breaks these rules, and the account that posted it is suspended or closed.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules without notice.
4. Intellectual property
The service and its content, features and functionality belong to COHORTS and its licensors. Our marks may not be used without written consent.
You keep ownership of what you post, such as session descriptions and messages, and you give us a licence to show and distribute it only as needed to run the service.
5. Ending your account
We may suspend or close your account at once, without notice or liability, for any reason including a breach of these terms. You may close your own account at any time from Settings.
6. Limitation of liability
COHORTS and its people, partners and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
7. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms at any time. By continuing to use the service after a change takes effect you agree to the new terms.
